Installing QMB

You can install QMB on an SQL server or any other computer in a local network. This system, however, must operate in the 24/7 mode and have access to maintained SQL servers. For email notifications to work, it is required that the system with QMB installed on it have Internet access.

Admin rights are required for installing the program! |
To install or update the program, start QMB setup.exe with admin rights and follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
The installation wizard will install the QMB Service and its client.

By default, the service creates an account called QmbServiceUser. If you plan to use Windows authorization to connect to SQL servers, you need to select a user with sysadmin rights for the maintained servers during installation. |
